Bubblegum Space Girl

For my foundation term final at Think Tank Training Centre I challenged myself by recreating a character based on a concept from the "bubblegum space" series by Wenjuinn Png. Having no prior experience in 3D or art before Think Tank, the 4 weeks for this project were a steep learning curve for new and recently gained skills. The concept had a good mix of hard-surface and organic elements, and gave me the opportunity to jump into character creation. It was a challenging piece to translate into 3D, especially since it is the first character I created. However I’m very happy with how it turned out and I’m looking forward to study characters in more details.
